LIKE COCONUT'S (WHICH ARE IN ESSENCE SEEDS
THEMSELVES), IT'S EXOCARP AND/OR OUTER LAYER
IS REPRESENTATIVE OF OUR OWN OUTER SHELLS OR SKIN....
WE ARE ALL VERY DIFFERENT ON THE OUTSIDE ,BUT WE ALL
SHARE MANY SIMILARITIES ON THE INSIDE....A COCONUT'S
"WHITE" AND FLESHY CORE CENTER IS CALLED THE ENDOSPERM.
I BELIEVE THAT THIS CENTER CORE IS SYMBOLIC OF OUR OWN
FLESHY BEATING HEARTS.....ULTIMATELY WE'RE ALL VERY
UNIQUE, WE ARE UNIQUE IN RACE, RELIGION AND GENDER...
I HAD BEGAN TO OBSERVE THE COCONUTS WHICH HAD CONTINUE TO FALL
ONTO MY BACK YARD FROM TWO LARGE MAYPAN COCONUT PALMS.
I SAW THE FALLEN COCONUTS IN THEIR MOST PUREST AND PRIMITIVE
STATE. CREATING ORGANIC HANGING SCULPTURES WHILE INCORPORATING
NATIONAL OR LBGT FLAGS (PAINTED ONTO LEAVES), PLACED WITHIN EACH
COCONUT CORE.
THE COCONUTS BECAME VESSELS OF NATIONALITY OR GENDER PREFERENCE.
THE SMALL SCULPTURES SYMBOLIZING IDENTITY AS IF BORN FROM
THE COCONUT'S HUSK (MESOCARP).
